Daniel worked at a large corporate law firm, where he participated in major corporate transactions. He also worked in finance at a major American bank. Daniel gained invaluable experience having worked at some of the top firms in Canada, and brings that experience to help solve his clients’ issues.
Daniel carries with him significant business law experience, as well as a strong understanding of corporate finance. Daniel’s extensive experience in law and finance enables him to provide companies with holistic, strategic, and practical guidance, as he can identify and advise on both legal and financial issues businesses regularly encounter. Daniel believes that understanding a company’s financials is vital to providing his corporate clients the most comprehensive and practical legal advice for their business, as law and finance are invariably intertwined. Prior to founding Guardian, Daniel began his career at a major Canadian corporate law firm. Thereafter he left law to pursue a career in finance for a major U.S. Bank. Daniel’s work experience provided him with an appreciation for rendering effective service by operating in an open, accessible, and efficient manner. Daniel knows that a rapidly changing world demands lawyers to be innovative and adapt to the modern clients’ needs. He founded Guardian to do just that.
Daniel is a big proponent of spending time outdoors and travelling the world. His free time entails spending time at the gym or indulging in sports, such as tennis, baseball, skiing or hiking. Daniel is an adventurous eater, and loves trying new cuisines. Though Daniel is used to working long hours, he will always try to find time to exercise, see family, and play with his dog. He’s a fan of the Toronto Blue Jays, Toronto Raptors, and New York Giants.
